Qen merupakan seorang seniman yang tinggal di Deir el-Medina di tepi barat Sungai Nil, di seberang Thebes, selama masa pemerintahan Ramses II. Gelar-gelarnya termasuk Hamba di Tempat Kebenaran, yang berarti ia mengerjakan penggalian dan dekorasi di dekat makam kerajaan. Ia dimakamkan di TT4 di desa nekropolis. [1]
Qen menyajikan banyak monumen di dalam dan sekitar el-Medina. Adegan di makamnya menggambarkan Ramses II dan wazirnya Paser yang memberi petunjuk bahwa Qen berasal dari masa awal pemerintahan Ramses II.
