RS-28 Sarmat

RS-28 (Rusia: РС-28 Сармат) (juga dikenal sebagai Sarmat, atau Sarmatian) SS-X-30 adalah, rudal balistik super berat termonuklir antarbenua Rusia berbahan bakar cair dilengkapi MIRV, di masa depan dalam pengembangan oleh Makeyev Rocket Design Bureau dari 2009, dimaksudkan untuk menggantikan rudal sebelumnya SS-18 Satan.

Muatannya yang besar akan memungkinkan hingga 10 hulu ledak berat atau 15 yang lebih ringan, dan / atau kombinasi dari hulu ledak dan sejumlah besar penanggulangan yang dirancang untuk mengalahkan sistem anti-rudal; rudal itu digembar-gemborkan oleh militer Rusia sebagai respon terhadap Prompt Global Strike AS.
