Ramtek Corporation adalah produsen terminal tampilan komputer yang berbasis di California dan didirikan pada 1971. Para pendiri, Charles E. McEwan dan John W. Metzler, sebelumnya bekerja bersama di divisi grafik komputer milik Data Disc, Inc., dan mendirikan Ramtek untuk membuat perangkat yang menampilkan informasi dari sistem komputer.[2] Usaha utama mereka adalah monitor medis, serta pembuatan terminal grafis kelas atas untuk penggunaan industri dan akademik. Pada 1973, mereka menjadi salah satu produsen awal gim video, dan memproduksi gim berbasis koin hingga 1979. Ramtek kemudian menjadi perusahaan publik mulai 1979. Pada 1981, dilaporkan bahwa Ramtek merupakan perusahaan teratas dalam bidang terminal tampilan grafik raster.[3]
