Randu alas (Bombax ceiba L.) adalah pohon yang dianggap suci oleh umat Hindu. Tumbuhan ini dapat berukuran sangat besar dan sering ditanam di dekat bangunan suci.

Pada saat penemuan Candi Pawon, pohon ini diketahui tumbuh di reruntuhan bangunan.[1]
