Reaktor A2W
Reaktor A2W adalah reaktor nuklir angkatan laut yang digunakan oleh Angkatan Laut Amerika Serikat untuk menyediakan pembangkit listrik dan propulsi pada kapal perang. Penamaan singkatan A2W:
- A = platform kapal induk
- 2 = inti generasi Kedua dirancang oleh kontraktor
- W = Westinghouse adalah desainer kontraktor
Reaktor nuklir ini digunakan dalam kapal induk pertama bertenaga nuklir di dunia, USS Enterprise (CVN-65).
