Reaktor ELENA


Reaktor ELENA adalah reaktor jenis PWR Rusia yang berkapasitas produksi 68-kWe yang dikembangkan oleh Kurchatov Institute. Untuk mengembangkan reator tersebut, beberapa jenis teknik digunakan dari konstruksi dan operasi dari kelautan dan instalasi energi ruang angkasa dan pengalaman operasional dari Reaktor GAMMA.

Reaktor ini dapat digunakan juga untuk pemurnian air. Pada 2014, reaktor nuklir komersial jenis ini telah dikembangkan.[1][2]
