Red Bull Stratos adalah sebuah proyek yang melibatkan penerjun langit asal Austria Felix Baumgartner dan purnawirawan USAF Kolonel Joseph Kittinger. Misi ini berhasil menerbangkan Baumgartner ke ketinggian 39 kilometer (24 mi)[1][2] di stratosfer di atas New Mexico menggunakan balon helium sebelum terjun bebas dan berparasut ke darat.[3] Berhasil mencapai kecepatan 1.342 kilometer per jam (834 mph)—Mach 1,24—Baumgartner memecahkan kecepatan suara saat terjun,[4] lantas menjadi manusia pertama yang melakukannya tanpa tenaga kendaraan.[3][5] Baumgartner juga berupaya memecahkan tiga rekor dunia lainnya—penerbangan balon berawak tertinggi, terjun ketinggian tertinggi, dan waktu terjun terlama.
