Region Kepulauan
Region Kepulauan adalah salah satu dari empat region di Papua Nugini (PNG) yang meliputi Kepulauan Bismarck dan Kepulauan Solomon Utara terletak di utara-timur Pulau Papua. Inilah region yang paling jarang penduduknya di Papua Nugini dengan penduduk 750.000 jiwa (14% dari total penduduk PNG) [1] dan berbeda dari sisi sejarahnya, seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh prevalensi bahasa Austronesia dan temuan arkeologi budaya gerabah Lapita.
