Reuven Amitai (lahir 23 Agustus 1955), juga Reuven Amitai-Preiss, adalah seorang sejarawa dan penulis Israel-Amerika, yang mengkhususkan diri dalam peradaban Islam pra-modern, khususnya Suriah dan Palestina pada masa Kekaisaran Mamluk.[1] Pada usia 20an tahun, ia pindah ke Israel dan menjadi profesor sejarah di Universitas Ibrani Yerusalem. Pada 2012, ia menjadi Dekan Fakultas Kemanusiaan di Universitas Ibrani.[2][3]
