Richard Gasson (1842 – 29 September 1864) adalah seorang prajurit Amerika Serikat yang berjuang dalam Perang Saudara Amerika. Gasson secara anumerta meraih penghargaan tertinggi di negara tersebut, Medal of Honor.[1] Medali Gasson diberikan atas aksinya pada Pertempuran Chaffin's Farm di Henrico County, Virginia pada 29 September 1864.[1] Gasson tewas dalam pertempuran tersebut.[1] Ia dianugerahi penghargaan tersebut pada 22 Juni 1896.[2]
