Richard Woodman

Kapten Richard Martin Woodman LVO (lahir 1944) seorang novelis dan sejarah kemaritiman, berkebangsaan Inggris yang pensiun tahun 1997 setelah 37 tahun berkarier di bidang kelautan untuk Trinity House, sebagai penulis tetap.[1] Hasil karyanya adalah 14 jilid tentang karier Nathaniel Drinkwater,[2] dan cerita pendek tentang James Dunbar dan William Kite, tetapi dia juga menulis buku kisah nyata tentang sejarah abad ke-18 dan Perang Dunia II, termasuk trilogi penelitian konvoi pada Perang Dunia II dan 5 jilid sejarah Pelayaran Perdagangan Inggris. Tidak menyukai penulis sejarah kemaritiman modern seperti C.S.
