Ruang redaksi adalah ruang untuk meletakkan semua naskah berita yang akan diolah.[1] Ruang redaksi merupakan tempat utama untuk staf-staf redaksi, yaitu wartawan, reporter, redaktur, asisten redaktur, redaktur pelaksana, redaktur visual, produser, asisten produser, pembawa acara berita, pegawai biasa, pekerja lepas, dan staf-staf lainnya, bekerja untuk mengumpulkan berita yang akan diterbitkan dalam surat kabar, surat kabar daring atau majalah, atau disiarkan di radio atau televisi.
