Rudolf Kohlrausch (1809-1858)

Rudolf Hermann Arndt Kohlrausch (6 November 1809, Göttingen – 8 Maret 1858, Erlangen) adalah seorang fisikawan Jerman.

Biografi

Ia berasal dari Göttingen, sebagai putra dari direktur jenderal Royal Hanovarian dari sekolah-sekolah Friedrich Kohlrausch. Ia menjadi guru sekolah tinggi matematika dan fisika di Lüneburg, Rinteln, Kassel dan Marburg. Pada 1853, ia menjadi profesor asosiasi di Universitas Marburg, dan empat tahun kemudian, profesor penuh di Universitas Erlangen.[1]

Ia adalah ayah dari fisikawan Friedrich Kohlrausch.

  • Elektrodynamische Maaßbestimmungen: insbesondere Zurückführung der Stromintensitäts-Messungen auf mechanisches Maass (with Wilhelm Weber) 1857.[2]
