Runtuhan batu atau jatuhan batu adalah sejumlah batu yang jatuh bebas dari pinggir tebing. Istilah ini juga digunakan untuk hasil jatuhan batu dari atap atau dinding suatu tambang. "Sebuah jatuhan batu adalah sebuah fragmen batu yang terpisah dengan cara meluncur, terguling, atau jatuh, yang jatuh di tebing vertikal atau sub-vertikal, lalu turun dengan memantul, terpental pada trajektori balistik atau terguling pada lereng talus atau puing".[1] Atau, juga dapat didefinisikan sebagai "sebuah gerakan kebawah alami sebuah blok batu yang terpisah atau serangkaian blok dengan volume yang kecil, meliputi jatuh bebas, memantul, berguling dan tergelincir".[2]
