Rupee Nepal adalah mata uang resmi negara Nepal. Mata uang ini dicetak dan diatur penggunaannya oleh Bank Sentral Nepal, dengan kode ISO 4217 NPR. Satu rupee dibagi menjadi 100 paisa. Simbol yang paling umum digunakan untuk rupee adalah Rs atau ₨.
Rupee Nepal diperkenalkan pada tahun 1932, menggantikan mohar perak di tingkat 2 mohar = 1 rupee. Awalnya, rupee ini disebut mohru dalam bahasa Nepali. Nilainya dipatok untuk rupee India pada tahun 1993 dalam tingkat 1,6 rupee Nepal = 1 rupee India.[1] Diarsipkan 2007-02-19 di Wayback Machine.
