Rusa schomburgk (Rucervus schomburgki) adalah sebuah spesies rusa punah yang sebelumnya endemik ke Thaliand Tengah. Spesies ini dideskripsikan oleh Edward Blyth pada 1863 dan dinamai bedasarkan Robert Hermann Schomburgk, yang merupakan seorang konsul Inggris di Bangkok dari 1857 hingga 1864.[2] Spesies ini diyakini punah pada 1938, saat catatan-catatan terakhir spesies ini diterbitkan.

Deskripsi

Satu-satunya spesimen rusa schomburgk yang dipajang di dunia, di Muséum national d'histoire naturelle.

Spesies ini tampak mirip dengan barasinga (R. duvaucelli) yang berkerabat dekat. Bulunya cokelat gelap dengan perut yang lebih terang. Bagian bawah ekornya putih. Jantan memiliki ranggah mirip keranjang.[2] Sedikit yang diketahui mengenai betina dari spesies ini, selain bahwa mereka tak punya ranggah.
