Ruth von Mayenburg (1 Juli 1907 – 26 Juni 1993) adalah seorang jurnalis, penulis, dan penerjemah Austria. Pada tahun-tahun sebelumnya, ia aktif secara politik di Partai Komunis Austria (Kommunistische Partei sterreichs, atau KPÖ). Ia melarikan diri dari Nazi, dia tinggal di pengasingan di Uni Soviet di Moskow tepatnya di Hotel Lux, setelah itu menulis beberapa buku tentang pengalamannya di sana.
