SME Ordnance

Perusahaan SME Ordnance Sdn Bhd (SMEO), sebelumnya dikenal sebagai Syarikat Malaysia Explosive Sdn Bhd, adalah perusahaan pertahanan Malaysia yang berspesialisasi dalam pembuatan dan pemasaran persenjataan. Perusahaan berlokasi di Batu Arang, Selangor.[1][2][3][4][5]

SMEO adalah anak perusahaan dari Industri Dirgantara dan Pertahanan Nasional Sdn Bhd.[6][7][8][9][10]

ME Ordance dibentuk pada tahun 1969 sebagai perusahaan patungan dengan penyertaan modal antara Pemerintah Malaysia, Dynamit Nobel Jerman, Oerlikon Machine Tools of Switzerland dan dua mitra lokal yaitu Syarikat Permodalan Kebangsaan dan Syarikat Jaya Raya Sdn Bhd.[11] [12][13][14][15]
