SMP Negeri (SMPN) 2 Jember, merupakan salah satu Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri yang ada di Kabupaten Jember, Indonesia. Sama dengan SMP pada umumnya di Indonesia masa pendidikan sekolah di SMPN 2 Jember ditempuh dalam waktu tiga tahun pelajaran, mulai dari Kelas VII sampai Kelas IX. SMPN 2 Jember juga terdapat kelas billingual dan kelas akselerasi. Pada tahun 2013, sekolah ini menggunakan Kurikulum 2013 sebelumnya dengan KTSP. Dengan adanya Kurikulum 2013, kelas billingual dan akselerasi dihapus. Setiap tahunnya, SMPN 2 Jember mengadakan event tahunan yaitu Spada Competition. Mapel yang dilombakan antara lain Bahasa Indonesia, E-Sport, Natural Science, Social Science, English, dan Tahfidz Juz 30.

Berbagai fasilitas dimiliki SMPN 2 Jember untuk menunjang kegiatan belajar mengajar. Fasilitas tersebut antara lain:
