SMP Negeri 5 Samboja

SMP Negeri 5 Samboja terletak di RT 06 Desa Beringin Agung, Kecamatan Samboja, Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara. SMP Negeri 5 pertama kali didirikan pada tahun 2006. SMP Negeri 5 Samboja mendapat status akreditasi grade B dengan nilai 83 pada tahun tahun 2019.[1]

Sekolah ini pernah mengalami kebakaran pada tahun 2023 dan dibangun kembali di lahan baru yang lebih luas pada tahun 2024 oleh Bupati Kutai Kartanegara (Edi Damansyah).[1]
