Salih Zeki

Salih Zeki Bey

Salih Zeki Bey (1864, Istanbul – 1921, Istanbul) adalah seorang matematikawan, astronom dan pendiri jurusan matematika, fisika, dan astronomi di Universitas Istanbul.

Ia dikirim oleh Kementerian Pos dan Telegraf untuk belajar teknik kelistrikan di École Polytechnique, Paris. Ia kembali ke Istanbul pada 1887 dan mulai bekerja di Kementerian tersebut sebagai insinyur kelistrikan dan inspektur.
