Privat Samuel S. French (23 April 1841 – 17 Februari 1913) adalah seorang prajurit Amerika Serikat yang berjuang dalam Perang Saudara Amerika. French meraih penghargaan tertinggi negara tersebut untuk keberanian saat bertempur, Medal of Honor, atas pengabdiannya dalam Pertempuran Seven Pines di Virginia pada 31 Mei 1862. Ia dianugerahi penghargaan tersebut pada 24 Oktober 1895.[1][2][3]
