Sel T naif (sel Th0) adalah sel T yang telah didiferensiasikan dalam sumsum tulang, dan berhasil menjalani proses seleksi pusat positif dan negatif di timus. Mereka dapat berubah menjadi sel T pembantu (CD4+) atau sel T sitotoksik (CD8+). Sel T naif belum dianggap dewasa karena belum pernah bertemu dengan antigen, tidak seperti sel T biasa atau sel T memori.
