Seneca yang Tua

Marcus Annaeus Seneca, yang dikenal sebagai Seneca yang Tua dan Seneca sang Retorikawan (/ˈsɛnɪkə/; 54 SM – s. 39 M), adalah seorang retorikawan dan penulis Romawi, yang lahir dari sebuah keluarga equestrian kaya asal Cordoba, Hispania. Seneca tinggal pada masa tiga kaisar signifikan; Augustus (memerintah 27 SM – 14 M), Tiberius (memerintah 14 M – 37 M) dan Caligula (memerintah 37 M – 41 M).
