Shinmaywa (sebelumnya Shin Meiwa) US-2 adalah pesawat amfibi besar STOL Jepang yang dirancang untuk penyelamatan udara-laut (SAR). US-2 dijadwalkan untuk menggantikan Shin Meiwa US-1A.
Pesawat saat ini dioperasikan oleh 31 Fleet Air Wing (71 Angkatan Udara, 71 Penerbangan Squadron) di pangkalan udara Iwakuni dan pangkalan udara Atsugi.
Pada tahun 2012, US-2 sedang diperkenalkan ke Angkatan Laut India untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pencarian dan penyelamatan. Pada Mei 2013, kedua belah pihak memutuskan untuk mendirikan Joint Working Group untuk mengeksplorasi modalitas untuk kerjasama.
