Shlomo Goren (Bahasa Ibrani: שלמה גורן) (3 Februari 1917 – 29 Oktober 1994), adalah seorang rabbi Zionis Relijius Ortodoks di Israel, seorang cendekiawan Talmud dan penggerak otoritas atas dasar hukum Yahudi. Ia mendirikan dan menjabat sebagai kepala pertama Kerabbian Militer Pasukan Pertahanan Israel dan kemudian sebagai Kepala Rabbi Israel Ashkenazi ketiga dari 1973 sampai 1983, setelah ia mendirikan sebuah yeshiva di Yerusalem, yang ia kepalai sampai kematiannya.
Ia bertugas dalam Pasukan Pertahanan Israel pada tiga perang, menulis beberapa buku pemenang penghargaan tentang hukum Yahudi, dan dilantik menjadi Kepala Rabbi Tel Aviv pada 1968.

Marga asli keluarga Goren adalah Gorenchik. Ia lahir di Zambrów, Polandia dan berimigrasi dengan keluarganya ke Palestina Mandat Inggris pada 1925.
Goren dibesarkan di Kfar Hasidim, sebuah desa Yahudi relijius di dekat Haifa yang ayahnya dirikan. Ia mulai bekerja di yeshiva Hebron di Yerusalem pada usia 12 tahun, ia diidentifikasikan sebagai seorang prodigi. Buku pertamanya diterbitkan ketika ia berusia 17 tahun.[1]
