Shute Shield merupakan sebuah kompetisi uni rugbi di Sydney, New South Wales dan trofi tingkat utama dalam rugbi NSW. Shute Shield dihadiahkan pada pertengahan pertama musim klub Sydney. Trofi ini diperebutkan oleh dua belas klub NSWRU.
Shute Shield ditujukan sebagai penghormatan kepada Robert Elliott Stewart Shute, yang meninggal tanggal 6 Juni 1922 setelah bertanding di Manly Oval. Shute bekerja sebagai prajurit infanteri di Divisi Meriam A.I.F. ke-30 selama Perang Dunia Satu.
