Simpanse timur (Pan troglodytes schweinfurthii) adalah sebuah subspesies simpanse biasa. Subspesies tersebut berasal dari Republik Afrika Tengah, Sudan Selatan, Republik Demokratik Kongo, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, dan Tanzania.[2]
