Stanley Newcomb Kenton (15 Desember 1915 – 25 Agustus 1979) adalah seorang seniman musik populer dan jazz Amerika. Sebagai pianis, komposer, arranger dan pemimpin band, dia memimpin orkestra jazz yang inovatif dan berpengaruh selama hampir empat dekade. Meskipun Kenton memiliki beberapa hit pop dari awal 1940-an hingga 1960-an, musiknya selalu mengarah ke depan. Kenton juga pelopor di bidang pendidikan jazz, menciptakan Stan Kenton Band Clinics pada tahun 1959 di Universitas Indiana.[2]
