Stanisław Lem
Stanisław Herman Lem (12 September 1921-27 Maret 2006) merupakan seorang penulis, filosofi berkebangsaan Polandia. Buku-buku yang mereka terjemahkan terdiri dari 41 bahasa dan memiliki lebih dari 27 juta kopi. Pada titik pertama, dia merupakan orang yang terbanyak menulis non-Bahasa Inggris fiksi ilmu pengetahuan terbanyak di dunia.
Dia dilahirkan di Lwów, Polandia. Dia merupakan putera dari Sabina Woller dan Samuel Lem. Dia belajar ilmu kedokteran di Universitas Lviv (1939-1941). Dia meninggal dunia pada usianya yang ke-84 tahun akibat serangan jantung.
