Steven Michael Robert Howey (lahir 12 Juli 1977)[1] adalah aktor asal Amerika Serikat. Ia dikenal karena perannya sebagai Van Montgomery dalam serial televisi Reba dan sebagai Kevin Ball dalam serial Shameless. Howey juga muncul dalam film Supercross, DOA: Dead or Alive, Bride Wars, Game Over, Man!, Day Shift dan Something Borrowed.
Kehidupan awal
Howey lahir di San Antonio, Texas. Ia memiliki keturunan Skotlandia.[2] Ia lulus dari SMA Green Mountain di Lakewood, CO dan kuliah di Northeastern Junior College di Sterling, Colorado, selama dua tahun dengan beasiswa bola basket. Ia kemudian mengikuti lokakarya akting ayahnya di mana ia memutuskan untuk menjadi aktor.[3][4][5][6]
Kehidupan pribadi
Howey menikah dengan aktris dan model Sarah Shahi.[7] Keduanya bertunangan pada Juni 2007, saat berlibur di Hawaii dan menikah pada 7 Februari 2009 di Las Vegas. Pada Juli 2009, mereka memiliki anak pertama mereka, seorang putra.[8] Shahi melahirkan di rumah dengan metode water birth.[9] Pada Maret 2015, Shahi melahirkan anak kembar mereka di rumah, seorang putri dan seorang putra.[10] Howey dan Shahi mengajukan gugatan cerai pada Mei 2020.[11] Perceraian mereka diselesaikan pada Januari 2021.[12]
