Stronsium nitrida adalah senyawa kimia dengan rumus Sr3N2. Senyawa ini dihasilkan dari pembakaran logam stronsium di udara (yang juga menghasilkan stronsium oksida) atau pembakaran stronsium di tengah gas nitrogen.
Sifat
Stronsium nitrida adalah senyawa padat yang berewarna hitam.[2] Seperti nitrida logam lainnya, senyawa ini dapat bereaksi dengan air dan menghasilkan stronsium hidroksida dan amonia:
- Sr3N2 + 6 H2O → 3 Sr(OH)2 + 2 NH3
Selain stronsium nitrida, terdapat juga subnitrida Sr2N.[3]
