Sidama (ሲዳማ) adalah kelompok etnis yang berasal dari Zona Sidama di Etiopia. Diperkirakan terdapat 2.966.474 orang Sidama di Etiopia (4,01% populasi); 149.480 di antaranya tinggal di perkotaan. Kelompok etnis ini merupakan kelompok etnis terbesar kelima di Etiopia.[1] Mereka menuturkan bahasa Sidama.
Sebelumnya, sebagian besar orang Sidama menganut kepercayaan tradisional. Pada tahun 1960-an, misionaris-misionaris dari Eropa berdatangan,[2] sehingga kini sebagian besar (66,8%) beragama Kristen Protestan. Hanya 14,9% yang masih menganut kepercayaan tradisional, sementara 7,7% menganut agama Islam, 4,6% Katolik Roma, dan 2,3% Ortodoks Etiopia.[3]
