Sungai Raqqad

Raqqad, Ruqqad atau Ar-Ruqqad adalah suatu wadi (palung sungai) yang mengalir di Suriah barat daya, juga secara de facto di Israel timur laut. Wadi ini mengalir menuju Sungai Yarmuk sebagai anak sungai utamanya, dan membentuk batas timur topografi dari Dataran Tinggi Golan. Wadi ini menandakan batas de facto tenggara dari wilayah Golan yang dianeksasi Israel dengan wilayah Golan yang dikuasai oleh Suriah.[1]

Pertempuran Yarmuk antara Kekaisaran Romawi Timur dan Kekhalifahan Rasyidin terjadi di tahun 636 M di area yang dibatasi oleh wadi ini dan tempuran sungai Yarmuk.
