Surinder Vasal

Surinder Vasal, kelahiran India tahun 1938 merupakan ilmuwan di bidang genetika dan pemuliaan tanaman. Ia bekerja dengan pakar biokimia Dr Evangelina Villegas selama 35 tahun untuk mengembangkan jagung dengan kandungan protein yang lebih tinggi.[1] Atas usahanya tersebut, mereka mendapatkan Penghargaan Pangan Dunia pada tahun 2000.[2]
