Dalam mitologi Nordik, Surtr (Bahasa Nordik Kuno "hitam"[1] atau "yang berkulit gelap",[2] Surtur dalam Bahasa Islandia Modern, juga ditulis Surt dalam bahasa Inggris,[3] adalah jötunn. Keberadaan Surtr tercantum dalam Puisi Edda yang disusun pada abad ke-13 dari sumber-sumber tradisional dan dalam Prosa Edda yang ditulis pada abad ke-13 oleh Snorri Sturluson. Dalam kedua sumber tersebut, Surtr dikisahkan sebagai tokoh utama selama peristiwa Ragnarök. Surtr pergi berperang melawan Æsir dengan membawa pedang yang bersinar dan memerangi dewa utama Freyr, setelah itu api yang dibawanya akan menelan keseluruhan bumi.
Di dalam buku Prosa Edda, ada informasi tambahan yang diberikan tentang Surtr. Termasuk saat ia ditempatkan untuk menjaga perbatasan wilayah berapi Múspell, memimpin "putra-putra Múspell" ke Ragnarök, dan mengalahkan Freyr. Surtr diabadikan sebagai nama tempat serta penggambaran artistik, dan para cendekiawan telah mengajukan teori mengenai deskripsi Surtr serta asal-usulnya.
