Surveyor 1

Surveyor 1 adalah lunar soft-lander yang pertama dalam program Surveyor tak berawak dari Aeronautics and Space Administration Nasional (NASA, Amerika Serikat). Ini soft-pendarat bulan yang mengumpulkan data tentang permukaan bulan yang akan diperlukan untuk berawak pendaratan Apollo bulan yang dimulai pada tahun 1969.

Surveyor 1 diluncurkan 30 Mei 1966, dari Cape Canaveral Air Force Station di Cape Canaveral, Florida, dan mendarat di Bulan pada tanggal 2 Juni 1966. Surveyor 1 ditransmisikan 11.237 foto-foto permukaan bulan ke Bumi dengan menggunakan kamera televisi dan sistem radio - telemetri canggih.
