Sussex (/ˈsʌsɪks/), dari kata kuno dalam bahasa Inggris Sūþsēaxe ('South Saxons'), adalah sebuah county historis yang terletak di tenggara Inggris, yaitu area tua dari Kerajaan Sussex. Daerah ini dibatasi Surrey di utara, timur dengan Kent, selatan dengan Selat Inggris, dan barat dengan Hampshire, serta secara pemerintahan lokal terbagi menjadi West Sussex dan East Sussex serrta Brighton dan Hove.
