Susu cokelat adalah susu rasa cokelat manis. Minuman tersebut terbuat dari campuran sirup cokelat (atau bubuk cokelat) dengan susu (dari sapi, kambing, kedelai, beras, dll). Minuman tersebut dapat dijual terpisah dengan susu atau dibuat di rumah dengan mencampur susu dengan bubuk kokoa dan pemanis (seperti gula atau pengganti gula), cokelat kental, sirop cokelat, atau susu cokelat bubuk. Bahan lainnya terkadang ditambahkan, seperti garam, vanila atau pemanis buatan.[1][2]
Sejarah pembuatan
Proses pembuatan susu coklat mulai diperkenalkan oleh Daniel Peter pada tahun 1876.[3]
