Symphonies of Sickness adalah album kedua dari band metal asal British Carcass. Dirilis oleh Earache Records pada tahun 1989.

Kemajuan gaya permainan personelnya sejak album Reek of Putrefaction sangat jelas terdengar. Sound death metal lebih berkarakteristik, dengan teknik permainan gitar Bill Steer dan permainan bass Jeff Walker yang bertambah baik serta lirik menjadi semakin menonjol dalam semua lagu. Permainan drum Ken Owen benar-benar telah berubah, mengimpelentasikan sebuah gaya baru dengan menggunakan double-bass pedal drum, yang selama album pertama tidak ditampilkan.

CD berisikan 16 bonus track yang diambil dari album Reek of Putrefaction. Beberapa edisi juga berisikan lagu Genital Grinder II and Hepatic Tissue Fermentation dari the Pathological Compilation. Album ini dirilis ulang pada tahun 1996 dengan sampul depan disensor dan menjelaskan "Artwork asli ada di dalam".
