Tamerlan Thorell
Tord Tamerlan Teodor Thorell (3 Mei 1830 – 22 Desember 1901)[1] adalah seorang araknolog Swedia.
Thorell mempelajari laba-laba dengan Giacomo Doria di Museo Civico di Storia Naturale de Genoa. Ia berkorespondensi dengan araknolog lain, seperti Octavius Pickard-Cambridge, Eugène Simon, dan Thomas Workman.
Dari tahun 1850-an hingga tahun 1900, ia telah mendeskripsikan lebih dari 1.000 spesies laba-laba.
Thorell menulis: On European Spiders (1869), dan Synonym of European Spiders (1870–73).
