Tangkap dan lepas
Tangkap dan lepas adalah sebuah praktik dalam pemancingan rekreasional yang ditujukan sebagai teknik konservasi. Setelah ditangkap, ikan dilepaskan dari kail dan dikembalikan ke air. Sering kali, ukuran kecepatan dan berat ikan adalah masalahnya. Memakai kail tanpa kait, tindakan tersebut sering kali dimungkinkan untuk melepas ikan tanpa melepasnya dari air.
