Tata (bahasa Jerman: Totis), (bahasa Latin: Dotis)adalah sebuah kota di kabupaten Komárom-Esztergom, berjarak sekitar 9 km (6 mi) ke arah barat laut kabupaten Tatabánya. Menurut sensus 2001, kota ini memiliki 23.937 penduduk: 93,3% Hungaria, 1,6% Jerman, 0,6% Roma, 0,2% Slovakia, dan 6,5% lainnya.[3]
