Telson
Telson (dari bahasa Yunani Kuno τέλσον, artinya "batas") adalah sebuah pembagian segmen tubuh paling belakang dari sebuah artropoda. Tergantung definisi, telson dapat dianggap sebagai segmen terakhir dari bada artropoda, atau sebuah bagian tambahan yang bukan merupakan segmen sejati, karena tidak muncul dari area teloblast seperti pada segmen lainnya pada embrio.[1] Anggota telson tidak pernah memiliki anggota gerak, tetapi sebuah "ekor" bercabang yang disebut dengan caudal furca dapat terpasang dengan telson. Komposisi dan ukuran dari telson berbeda tiap kelompok artropoda.
