Mortal Kombat adalah seri permainan video pertarungan yang dibuat oleh Ed Boon dan John Tobias pada tahun 1992. Mortal Kombat awalnya hanya ada di arkade, yang kemudian diangkat oleh Acclaim Entertainment untuk diterbitkan di konsol permainan video. Kemudian Midway Games mengambil alihkan Mortal Kombat.
