Sidney Lumet
Sidney Arthur Lumet (/luːˈmɛt/;[1] 25 Juni 1924 – 9 April 2011) adalah seorang sutradara film Amerika. Lumet memulai kariernya di teater sebelum pindah ke penyutradaraan televisi pada tahun 1950, dan kemudian menyutradarai film dari tahun 1957, di mana ia mendapatkan reputasi karena membuat drama New York yang realistis dan suram yang berfokus pada kelas pekerja, menangani ketidakadilan sosial, dan sering mempertanyakan otoritas.
