Temple Of The Dog adalah grup musik Amerika Serikat yang dibentuk pada tahun 1990. Grup ini digagas oleh vokalis Soundgarden, Chris Cornell, sebagai penghargaan terhadap almarhum vokalis Mother Love Bone, Andrew Wood, yang notabene merupakan rekan sekamarnya di Seattle. Personel grup musik ini adalah gabungan dua band, yaitu Soundgarden dan Mother Love Bone. Soundgarden diwakili oleh Chris Cornell dan Matt Cameroon. Sedangkan Mother Love Bone diwakili Stone Gossard dan Jeff Ament. Mereka juga mengundang musisi lain, gitaris Mike McCready, yang merupakan teman lama Stone Gossard. Selanjutnya, Eddie Vedder yang tengah mengikuti audisi untuk band baru Stone, Jeff dan Mike, diajak untuk turut mengisi vokal di beberapa lagu Temple of the Dog.

Grup ini hanya merilis satu album, berjudul Temple of the Dog, pada April 1991 dengan perusahaan rekaman A&M Records. Walau mendapat pujian dari kritikus pada saat perilisannya, album ini baru mulai terkenal pada tahun 1992, ketika Vedder, Ament, Gossard dan McCready sukses dengan grup musik Pearl Jam.
