Tendon (juga disebut urat) adalah sekumpulan jaringan ikat berserat kuat yang menghubungkan jaringan otot dengan tulang. Jaringan ini cukup kuat untuk menahan tegangan. Jaringan tendon sangat mirip dengan ligamen dan fascia; ketiganya terbuat dari kolagen. Ligamen menghubungkan tulang dengan tulang lain; fasciae menghubungkan otot dengan otot. Tendon dan otot bekerja sama untuk menggerakkan kerangka tubuh.
