Tentara Syam

Tentara Syam (Armée du Levant) mengidentifikasikan pasukan bersenjata Prancis dan kemudian Prancis Vichy saat menduduki, dan direkrut dari, sebuah wilayah "Syam" pada masa antar-perang dan awal Perang Dunia II.

Asal muasal

Pada September 1919, Lloyd George dan Georges Clemenceau memasuki sebuah perjanjian untuk menggantikan pasukan Inggris yang menduduki Silisia dengan pasukan Prancis.
