Terapi pemeliharaan

Terapi pemeliharaan adalah terapi medis yang dirancang untuk membantu keberhasilan pengobatan utama.[1] Misalnya, kemoterapi pemeliharaan dapat diberikan kepada orang yang menderita kanker dalam remisi dalam upaya mencegah kekambuhan.[2] Bentuk pengobatan ini juga merupakan pendekatan umum untuk pengelolaan banyak penyakit kronis yang tidak dapat disembuhkan seperti penyakit periodontal, penyakit Crohn, atau kolitis ulseratif.[3][4]
